Engagement and roka
The ring ceremony is often the first time both families are together in one room. We photograph the rituals, the rings and the elders' blessings, and take the couple aside for a few portraits before the evening gets busy.

Common questions
Can the engagement be part of the wedding booking?
Yes, and many families do this. Tell us both dates when you enquire and we will put them in one quote.
How long do you stay?
Usually from the start of the rituals until the main family groups are done. We agree the hours in advance, and can stay longer if the evening runs late.
Can you also film the engagement?
Yes. We can add a videographer for a short highlight reel and, if you want it, a longer traditional video of the rituals.
